Titanium or graphite?
Mechanically they are the same chair. The difference is the look: Titanium pairs a pale metallic frame with Smoke mesh, which reads lighter and more airy in a bright office than the familiar dark graphite. Because the Aeron Classic is no longer made, Titanium examples are uncommon, and we source and restore them specifically.

Is Titanium a genuine Herman Miller color?
Yes. Titanium is a factory Aeron Classic colorway from Herman Miller, not a paint job: a light metallic gray frame paired with matching mesh. We source these chairs and restore them without changing the original finish.
Why does a Titanium Aeron cost a little more than a graphite one?
Rarity. Because the Aeron Classic is discontinued, the Titanium finish is much rarer than the standard graphite and usually commands a higher market price. We keep our pricing fair, so you get the look without a big markup. Mechanically it is the same chair, so you are paying only for the finish.
Can I add a headrest that matches Titanium?
Yes. Our Aeron Classic headrest comes with 3DO3 Nickel Titanium mesh for Titanium chairs. It fits Size B and C, attaches without tools and does not void your warranty.
