Our latest mesh design no longer includes predrilled holes. This change allows the mesh's natural elasticity to deliver superior tension and durability once installed. To simplify the installation process, we've created a detailed step by step video guide.
What you need to know:
- You will need a drill gun to create the mounting holes
- If your mesh arrives with a few predrilled holes, please disregard them and follow the video instructions
- Due to the mesh's tension, installation may require some pressure. Having a second person help is recommended
- Begin by aligning the mesh using the center notch for easier placement
If the mesh feels loose after installation
The seat mesh may feel slightly loose after installation due to its natural elasticity and the installation method. This is normal and can be corrected without removing the seat or mesh.
- Use a heat gun on a low setting, or use an iron with a thin cloth between the iron and the mesh
- Move the heat source slowly and evenly across the mesh
- Allow the mesh to cool so the material sets
IMPORTANT: Once re-tightened, the mesh becomes firm and supportive. We design the mesh with a little give to make installation easier, since an overly tight mesh can be very difficult to install. Not every seat will require this step, but there is a small chance it may be needed.

Check the dots located on the upper back lip of your Aeron chair:
- 1 dot = Size A

Is it better to buy a full Aeron seat pan or just the mesh replacement?
