The prices are lower for two main reasons. First, we operate on a high-volume, low-margin model. We prefer to sell thousands of chairs at a fair price rather than a few chairs at a high markup.
Secondly, we control our own refurbishing process. Since we don't rely on anyone to provide us with replacement parts or the expertise to do it, we keep our costs low so we can keep our prices low. We are aware that some people got upset by how fast we grew, leading to some questionable reviews on platforms like Reddit.
