Level up your comfort
Gaming sessions can last for hours. Without a headrest, your neck keeps working even when you lean back, and that is where tension headaches and end-of-session fatigue come from. With this one in place you can fully relax your neck and shoulders, so you stay focused and comfortable for longer. Set it upright for competitive play or tilt it back for chill mode. After heavy use, a quick turn of the side knobs by hand firms it up again. The setup guide further down shows installation and how to dial it in for your gaming posture.
Premium support, sold direct
Completing your gaming chair should not mean another big bill. It is made and sold by OfficeLogixShop itself, so no middleman's margin is built into the price. Put it on your gaming Embody and feel the difference for yourself.
Don't let neck fatigue end your session early. Equip your chair with this premium gaming headrest today.
If you still need the chair, see our fully renewed Embody Gaming Style chair, which comes with a new OfficeLogixShop headrest.

The headrest for the Logitech G Embody, in detail
Head support for long sessions, cinematic cutscenes and casual browsing, matching your chair's gaming look while keeping your spine aligned.
The headrest the Embody gaming chair was missing
The Logitech G Embody ships without a headrest. Ours clamps onto the chair's spine and follows its lines, so your head finally has support when you lean back. Shown here in the Amethyst version.
Looks like it came with the chair
Shaped to the Embody's spine and finished in colors chosen for the gaming editions, it sits on the chair as if it had always been part of it, not like an add-on bolted to the top.
Height and tilt, set for how you play
Slide it up or down to meet your neck, then tilt it forward for upright competitive play or back for chill mode and cutscenes. It holds where you set it. Shown in Gaming Black fabric with the blue back.

An upgraded internal spring
The upgraded spring holds the headrest rock-steady during intense play, whichever way you lean.
Clamps on, no drilling
A padded, non-invasive clamp grips the chair's spine, with no drilling and no permanent marks.
Everything you need is in the box
The headrest comes with its installation tool kit, so there is nothing extra to buy.
Made for the Galaxy edition too
Shown here in the Galaxy version, one of the four made for the gaming editions.
All black, for the black-back edition
Gaming Black fabric on a black back keeps the headrest as understated as the chair it sits on.
The best headrest for a gaming Embody: eight things to check
Eight things that decide whether a headrest belongs in your battle station, and how ours stacks up.
| What to check | Why it matters | OfficeLogixShop headrest |
|---|---|---|
| Made for your exact chair | The Embody's back hangs on one central spine rather than a frame, so a headrest has to be shaped for that spine to sit straight. | Yes: made for the gaming Embody's spine |
| Installs without special tools or drilling | Fitting it should need only what comes in the box, not a trip to buy tools. | Yes: tool kit in the box, no drilling |
| Real adjustment | You sit upright in a tense match and lean back between rounds, so the headrest has to reach your head in both. | Yes: height and tilt |
| Looks like part of the chair | The gaming editions come in their own colors, so a headrest in standard office colors would look out of place. | Yes: four edition colors |
| Warranty included | Check that the warranty covers manufacturing defects in the adjustment mechanism. | 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects, included |
| Your chair's warranty stays intact | The gaming Embody comes with Herman Miller's warranty, and a headrest must leave it untouched. | Does not void your chair's warranty: the padded clamp holds the spine with no drilling and comes off cleanly |
| A fair price | Money saved on the headrest can go to the rest of your setup, from the desk to the screen. | $134 |
| A proven track record | A new color edition starts without reviews of its own, so the verified reviews of the standard-color Embody headrest, the same design, are the place to look. | Thousands of our headrests sold across the range; try this one yourself |
Headrest for the gaming Embody: questions buyers ask
Is the OfficeLogixShop Embody gaming headrest good?
Judge it on the facts: it is shaped for the Embody's spine, and thousands of OfficeLogixShop headrests are already in buyers' hands. You can read verified reviews of the standard-color version of this headrest on our Embody headrest page. Try it yourself.
Does the Logitech G Embody gaming chair come with a headrest?
No. Like the office Embody, the gaming edition comes without a headrest, so when you lean back between matches your neck holds your head up on its own. This headrest adds that missing support and keeps your spine aligned.
Will this gaming headrest match my chair colors?
Yes. This gaming edition is designed to perfectly complement the Gaming Black fabric editions of your gaming chair, with a blue (cyan) or black back, and the Amethyst (3SYA1) and Galaxy (Z1823) editions. Choose the version that matches yours.
Is there a version for the Ignite or Nova edition?
Not a color-matched one. Our four versions are made for the Amethyst, Galaxy and Gaming Black editions. The headrest fits every Embody mechanically, so it will mount on an Ignite or Nova chair too, but none of the four is designed to match their colors. Send us a photo of your chair through our contact page and we will help you choose.
Can I install this gaming headrest on a standard Embody chair?
Yes, it is mechanically compatible with all versions of the Embody chair. For a non-gaming Embody, though, we recommend our standard Embody headrest, so the colors match your office fabric perfectly.
Why does it cost less than other headrests for the Embody gaming chair?
Because we design and make it ourselves and sell it to you directly, with no reseller in between.
What is the purpose of the internal spring?
The internal spring increases the lifespan of the mechanism and ensures smooth, sturdy adjustments, preventing the headrest from drooping over time.
Do I need special tools to install or tighten it?
No. The installation tool kit in the box covers every step shown in the video above, and nothing gets drilled. The side knobs are designed for hand-tightening: if the headrest feels loose after heavy use, simply tighten the knobs by hand to secure it again.
Will installing the headrest void my chair's warranty?
No. Installing it will not void your chair's warranty: the headrest grips the Embody's spine with non-invasive clamping and protective padding, so the chair needs no holes and shows no marks, and it comes off whenever you like. In the US, the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. 2302(c)) also generally does not allow a manufacturer to make its warranty depend on using only its own branded accessories.
What warranty does it have?
Your gaming headrest is built to last, and we back it with a full 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects, at no extra cost. Accidents and normal wear are not covered. Full terms are on our warranty page.
How fast does OfficeLogixShop ship the gaming headrest?
We know you want to complete your setup quickly. Orders typically ship within 3 business days. Shipping is free in the contiguous US, and we offer the best international shipping rates available for customers elsewhere.
Can I buy an Embody chair with a headrest included?
Yes, in a gaming style. Our Embody Gaming Style chair is a fully renewed Herman Miller Embody in an Amethyst-style purple or Galaxy-style green finish on a white frame, and a new OfficeLogixShop headrest comes with it. It is a regular Embody set up gaming style, not the Logitech G edition.
