Why Aeron owners choose this headrest
The OfficeLogixShop headrest for the Aeron addresses the one critical element the chair is missing, creating a complete ergonomic solution that supports your entire spine. Its contoured design eases pressure on your neck and maintains proper cervical positioning to prevent fatigue and discomfort, and the breathable mesh keeps you cool. Superior comfort, effortless installation and perfect design integration make it the ideal workspace solution for professionals who demand both performance and aesthetics.
Four mesh colors: match your Aeron, or make it stand out
3DO1 Black and 3DO3 Nickel Titanium are the Aeron Classic's own mesh colors, so the headrest appears as if it were part of the original chair design. Blue and red mesh give it a bolder look.
The easy way to fit it
Bring the headrest in from one side of the frame, never straight down from the middle, which can damage the headrest; its metal hook then finds the track by itself. Then set the height and angle for your neck. The installation video further down shows the whole process.
Why it costs less than you might expect
OfficeLogixShop designs, makes and sells this headrest itself, so there is no middleman in the price and the quality stays in our own hands. Clients in dozens of countries already use our headrests; try one on your own Aeron and see for yourself. Companies upgrading a whole office can contact us for bulk discount pricing.
Buying a chair too? The Aeron Classic and headrest saving bundle puts a renewed Aeron Classic and this headrest in a single order.
Headrest for Herman Miller Aeron Classic: our price against other premium headrests

A closer look at each part, photo by photo.
The missing piece of the Aeron Classic
Specifically designed to integrate with the iconic Classic Aeron, it fills the void in upper spinal support, right where the chair's back ends.
Ergonomic design that supports your head
As the labels in this photo show, tilt and height adjust freely by hand, and the forward and backward setting locks where you put it.
No tools required
The spring clip is built into the mount at the base of the headrest arm.

A flip-out hook for your belongings
The integrated folding hanger holds a coat, a bag or headphones, then folds away when you do not need it.
Nickel Titanium, frame and all
The 3DO3 Nickel Titanium version is light gray throughout: mesh, frame and arm, as on this titanium Aeron Classic.
Blue mesh, for an Aeron that stands out
Beyond the two classic finishes, the headrest comes in blue mesh. Our Aeron Classic seat mesh comes in the same blue, so the seat and the headrest can match; the back keeps its original mesh.
Red mesh, a bold Classic
Red, like blue, sits on the same black frame and arm as the 3DO1 Black version; only the mesh changes color.
Recline and relax
With your head supported, you can recline fully and work comfortably for hours without the usual neck strain.
Better posture, more focus
With your head resting on it, you can sit up to concentrate or lean back between tasks without craning your neck.
Made for long days
Perfect for professionals, executives, remote workers, gamers and anyone who spends long hours in their Aeron Classic.
The best headrest for your Aeron Classic: what to look for
These are the eight things worth checking in any Aeron Classic headrest, with our answer to each.
| What to check | Why it matters | OfficeLogixShop headrest |
|---|---|---|
| Made for your exact chair | The Aeron Classic frame has its own shape and groove. A headrest made for this frame slides into that groove, instead of clamping on wherever a universal model can grip. | Yes: the Classic in sizes B and C only; patented |
| Installs without tools or drilling | An Aeron Classic is worth keeping in good shape; fitting a headrest should never mean drilling into or modifying the frame. | Yes: spring clip, no tools or hardware |
| Real adjustment | You sit upright to type and lean back to think. The headrest has to follow both positions, at your own neck height. | Yes: fine-tune height, angle and position |
| Looks like part of the chair | The headrest is the highest point of your Aeron and the first thing people see, so its mesh color should suit the chair. | Yes: four mesh colors |
| Warranty included | It carries the weight of your head every time you recline, so a warranty on the mechanism and the mesh belongs in the price. | Comprehensive 2-year warranty on all components and mechanisms, included |
| Your chair's warranty stays intact | If your Aeron Classic still has its original warranty, adding a headrest should not put it at risk. | It stays valid: the headrest clips to the frame with no drilling and leaves no mark when removed |
| A fair price | The Classic you already own is the expensive part; the headrest should be priced as an add-on to it. | From $109 in 3DO1 Black or 3DO3 Nickel Titanium; blue and red $135 |
| A proven track record | Sales figures and verified reviews show how a headrest copes with everyday use. | Thousands of OfficeLogixShop headrests sold, and verified Aeron Classic reviews on this page |
Headrest for the Herman Miller Aeron Classic: questions before you buy
Is the OfficeLogixShop Aeron Classic headrest good?
Yes. It is the patented headrest made for the Aeron Classic, and you can read verified buyer reviews on this page.
Does the Aeron Classic come with a headrest?
No. Herman Miller never offered a headrest for the Aeron Classic, which is why we designed this one.
How is it different from other Aeron headrests?
It is a patented OfficeLogixShop design made for the Aeron Classic alone. It goes on with a spring clip and no tools, where some other Aeron headrests mount with hex screws, and it adds a flip-out hook for your things.
Which color should I choose?
Choose by your chair's frame: 3DO1 Black for a dark graphite Aeron Classic, 3DO3 Nickel Titanium for a light titanium one. For a custom look, choose blue or red. The current price of each color shows in the options above.
Why does it cost less than other aftermarket headrests?
We design, make and sell the headrest ourselves, with no distributor in between, which keeps the price down.
Will this fit my Aeron chair?
It is designed for the Aeron Classic in sizes B and C; it does not fit size A. If you have the Remastered version, choose our Aeron Remastered headrest instead.
How does the Aeron headrest attachment work, and what is the easiest way to install it?
Slide the headrest onto the chair frame from the side rather than forcing it down from the top; the metal hook slides into the track effortlessly. The video above shows the whole process.
Why is it the best upgrade for the Aeron?
It effectively turns your Aeron task chair into a luxury executive recliner, giving you the critical neck support the original design lacks at a fraction of the cost of a new chair.
Will it void my Herman Miller warranty?
The Aeron Classic went out of production in 2016, so most Classic chairs are past their Herman Miller warranty. If yours still has active coverage, no: this headrest does not void it, because it does not damage or alter the chair. It needs no tools or drilling and comes off at any time without leaving a mark on your Aeron.
What warranty does it have?
We stand behind our design: a comprehensive 2-year warranty, included in the price, covers all components and the adjustment mechanisms, so your headrest is fully covered against mechanical defects and mesh issues. Accidents and normal wear are not covered. Full terms are on our warranty page.
Do you ship worldwide, and do you offer bulk pricing?
Yes. Shipping is free in the USA, we offer the best international shipping rates, and we have clients across the USA, Canada, Mexico, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, the UK, Germany, France, Australia and many other countries. Companies upgrading a whole office can contact us for bulk discount pricing.
Can I buy an Aeron Classic with the headrest?
Yes. Our Aeron Classic chair and headrest saving bundle pairs a renewed Aeron Classic with this headrest in a single order.
