You need this if the back of your Aeron Classic has torn, stretched out or started to sag, so your spine no longer gets the firm, even support the chair is known for. This Aeron back mesh replacement goes into your existing backrest frame and brings back a tight, breathable suspension, saving at least $70 compared with a full refurbished back.

Note: This package includes the Back Mesh Fabric Only. It does not include the plastic back frame or lumbar pad. You will install this mesh into your existing frame.
Important Installation Disclaimer: Our latest mesh design allows for superior tension by not including pre-drilled holes. This ensures the tightest possible fit for your specific frame. You will need a power drill to create the mounting holes during installation. If your mesh arrives with a few pre-drilled holes, please disregard them and follow the video instructions for a fresh fit. Due to the high tension required for ergonomic support, installation may require some pressure. Having a second person to help hold the mesh while you drill is highly recommended. Begin by aligning the mesh using the center notch for easier placement.
Before you start
Feel under the top lip of the back frame: two raised dots means Size B, three means Size C.

Is this OfficeLogixShop mesh suitable for my chair?
Yes, if you have an Aeron Classic in Size B or Size C. It fits both frames. It is not made for Size A or the Aeron Remastered.
How do I know what size my Aeron chair is?
Reach behind the top of your chair frame and feel for raised dots under the upper lip: 1 dot is Size A, 2 dots Size B and 3 dots Size C.
Do I really need a power drill for installation?
Yes. The mesh has to be extremely tight to support your weight, so we do not pre-drill the holes. Drilling them yourself gives a drum-tight fit on your frame that will not sag.
Is it cheaper to replace just the mesh or the whole back?
The mesh alone costs at least $70 less than our full refurbished back. Unless your plastic frame is broken, swapping the mesh is the smart choice.
