Arm Pads for the Aeron: Remastered, Classic or the Conversion Kit?
Classic and Remastered armrests take different pads. To check yours, look under the seat: the big, bulky mechanism is the Classic's. Herman Miller switched from the Classic to the Remastered in 2016.

Will these fit my Aeron?
Yes, if it is an Aeron Remastered in Size A, B or C, or the Remastered drafting stool. An Aeron Classic takes different pads; the table above shows which.
How do I replace the armrest pads?
With a screwdriver. Remove the old pad from the arm, set the new one on starting from the back of the arm, then insert and tighten the screw.
Are screws included?
No. Set the screws aside as you remove your worn pads: the new pair is fastened with those same screws.
Which pad goes on which side?
The pair is one left and one right pad, and the left one is marked L on its underside.
Is the Gaming Red the same pad as the black?
Yes, it is the same pad in a different color, and the red pair fits exactly like the black one.
Will new pads fix an arm that will not adjust?
No, a pad does not repair the arm itself. For a stuck or loose Remastered arm, follow our arm mechanism repair guide.
How fast will my pads ship?
Black leaves within 2 to 3 business days. The Gaming Red is on pre-order, and the first red pairs are due in late December. Delivery is free anywhere in the contiguous US.
