Common Issue: Long Bolts Not Catching
If the long bolts for the backrest are not catching when you try to screw them in, it is likely due to a misaligned or slightly loose nut inside the frame. This is a common situation and can be easily fixed without needing to return the chair.
Tools Needed
No special tools are required. You just need the bolts that came with the chair.
Steps to Fix the Back Installation
Step 1: Lay the Chair Flat
- Place your chair flat on the ground. This gives you better access to the back attachment points.
Step 2: Check the Nut Position
- Look closely at the nut inside the frame where the bolt is supposed to go. If it looks out of place:
- Realign the nut so it lines up with the hole
- Make sure it is stable and ready to receive the bolt
Step 3: Insert and Tighten the Bolt
- Now insert the bolt and give it a firm push.
- Begin tightening it. If the nut is aligned correctly, it should catch and tighten securely.
Step 4: Look for Missing Nuts
If the nut appears to be missing:
- Check the packaging thoroughly, including under the seat and in any small compartments
- The nut may have shifted during shipping and be tucked away

Once the back is attached securely:
- Push the lumbar support knob into its slot on the back
- Twist the knob to adjust the support to your preferred comfort level

- Ensure both bolts are tight and the backrest is stable
- Test the lumbar support knob to make sure it works properly
- Stand the chair upright and test it for comfort
