Built like architecture, seats like a sofa
The metal chassis and glass fiber base give this piece the strength its scale demands, and the one-piece molded foam seat holds its dynamic shape for years while staying genuinely comfortable to lounge on. At more than 10 feet long, it anchors a large open space and makes the first impression guests talk about long after they leave.
Planning a room around a 10-foot work of art
The Great Sage is a sofa you build a lobby around. A little planning makes sure it arrives smoothly and shows at its best.
Where it belongs
At 126 inches long, 63 inches deep and 70.9 inches high, it is made for large open spaces: a luxury hotel lobby, an executive foyer, a gallery, an entertainment venue or the great room of a large estate. Give it clear floor space on every side so guests can walk around it and see the hand-painted detail from all angles.
Lighting the foil
The genuine gold and silver foils come alive under warm, directional light. A pair of ceiling spots or a picture light angled at the piece turns it into the focal point of the room after dark.
Getting it inside
A piece this size needs a clear path. Before you order, measure every doorway, corridor, turn and elevator on the way to its final spot against its 126 x 63 x 70.9 inch size. Send us your measurements and our team will go through access and delivery with you.
Strong enough for daily use
Under the painted surface is a full metal chassis on a glass fiber base, and the seat is one-piece molded foam wrapped in premium fabric. It is built to be sat on every day, not roped off.

Questions about the Great Sage sofa
What is the sofa made of?
The frame is a full metal chassis on a glass fiber base. The seat is one-piece molded foam wrapped in premium fabric, and the exterior is hand-painted eco-friendly resin detailed with genuine gold and silver foils.
Is it actually comfortable to sit on?
Yes. It is not just a showpiece: the molded foam gives excellent support, so it makes a great lounging spot for guests.
How do I care for the painted and foil surface?
We recommend dusting it with a soft, dry cloth and avoiding abrasive pads, solvents and harsh cleaners, which can dull the paint and foil. For the fabric seat, vacuum gently and blot spills straight away.
Why does it take 12 weeks?
Each sofa is built after you order it rather than pulled from a warehouse, then shipped by freight. Delivery is free at about 12 weeks, or choose express at checkout for about 6 weeks. Because it is made for your order, it cannot be cancelled or refunded; if a return is approved as an exception, a 5% restocking fee applies. For more information, check our Returns and Refunds policy.
