Does the Embody come in different sizes like the Aeron?
No. Unlike the Aeron (which comes in A, B, or C), the Herman Miller Embody is designed as a "one-size-fits-all" chair. Its Pixelated Support system and BackFit adjustment allow it to automatically contour to a very wide range of body types and heights (from roughly 5'2" to 6'4").
Does this chair come with a headrest?
The Embody does not include a headrest from the factory. However, we offer our own OfficeLogixShop Embody Headrest. If you are planning to get the headrest and the Embody chair from the get-go, it is cheaper for you to get our Exclusive Saving Bundle.
What is the "BackFit" adjustment?
BackFit is the knob on the rear right of the chair. It allows you to align the backrest with the natural curve of your spine. You twist it forward to flatten the back for a more upright posture, or twist it backward to allow the spine to curve more.
What does "Refurbished" actually mean for the Embody?
Our process is thorough. We strip the chair down, deep clean the mechanical skeleton, and install new compatible parts when needed. We also inspect the gas cylinder, arm mechanics, and casters. You get a chair that looks and feels new.
