For adults, or just kids?
Both. At about 70 inches tall with a solid wood frame, it is spacious and sturdy enough for adults to lounge in, though kids tend to claim it first. Plan for a footprint of about 71 by 59 inches, and it becomes the focal point of a large bedroom, playroom or lobby: giant tiger decor that doubles as the comfiest seat in the room.
Making room for a giant tiger
The Giant Tiger Sofa is about 71 inches wide, 59 inches deep and 70 inches tall: an enclosed, striped nook that becomes the focal point of any room it is in.
How much room it needs
Plan for a footprint of about 71 by 59 inches, plus walking space in front so the tiger's face can be seen as you enter. The seat itself is 41.3 inches wide, 27.6 inches deep and 17.7 inches high, roomy enough for an adult to curl up or two children side by side.
Where it works best
- Large kids' bedrooms and playrooms
- Family living rooms and reading corners
- Creative studios and hotel lobbies
Built soft, built solid
A solid wood internal frame carries 45D high-density sponge, similar to what high-end mattresses use, under ultra-soft premium plush with lifelike stripes. It is sturdy enough for adults and soft enough that kids claim it first.
Care
Vacuum the plush now and then with an upholstery brush and blot spills straight away with a damp cloth. Test any cleaner on a hidden spot first.
Questions about the giant tiger sofa
Is it for adults or just kids?
Both. At about 70 inches tall with a solid wood frame and a 41-inch-wide seat, it is spacious and sturdy enough for adults to lounge in, though kids tend to claim it first.
Is it actually soft?
Very. 45D high-density sponge wrapped in ultra-soft premium plush balances a sink-in softness with real support, so it stays comfortable for long reads and naps.
Is there a cat version?
For cat lovers, the Cat Whiskers Love Seat offers the same cozy, enclosed feel with a gray cat face and paws.
Why does it take 12 weeks?
Each tiger is built after you order it rather than pulled from a warehouse, then shipped by freight. Delivery is free at about 12 weeks, or choose express at checkout for about 6 weeks. Because it is made for your order, it cannot be cancelled or refunded; if a return is approved as an exception, a 5% restocking fee applies.
