Midan Ergonomic Office Chair by OfficeLogixShop
The OfficeLogix Midan Chair features a unique continuous mesh construction and a heavy-duty Italian Donati mechanism. Designed for professional workspaces, it pairs a clean look with a full set of adjustments, including 4D armrests and an infinite tilt lock.
It is the second chair OfficeLogixShop has designed in house, and our answer to the Herman Miller Aeron and Cosm: it runs on the same Italian Donati mechanism the Aeron uses. This mesh desk chair comes in Black, Red or Glacier Blue.
The Continuous Mesh Advantage
Unlike traditional chairs that separate the seat and back with a gap, the Midan uses a single continuous mesh piece. This design eliminates the uncomfortable gap between the seat and backrest, providing uniform support and a cleaner, more professional look.
A buyer who tested it against two-piece chairs put it this way: the one-piece mesh "eliminates the empty space common in two-piece chairs between back and seat".

The Value of Factory New
While most chairs at this performance level are sold as "refurbished," the Midan is Factory New. You are the first owner. There is no wear and tear on the mesh, the gas cylinder has zero cycles on it, and the casters are pristine. You get the longevity of a $1000 chair starting from day one, and we built it for a 15-year lifespan.

Visual Details
Soft-Touch Arm Pads
The 4D armrests feature a beveled, soft-touch surface designed to reduce ulnar nerve pressure during typing, a detail often missed in standard plastic arms.
Temperature Regulation
The continuous mesh also keeps you cool: its high-tensile weave allows body heat to escape instantly, preventing the heat buildup common in foam backrests. The mesh itself is imported from Taiwan.
Waterfall Seat Edge
The seat frame curves downward at the front (waterfall design) to ensure blood circulation to your lower legs remains unobstructed even when you lean forward.
Reinforced Nylon Base
Engineered to support 350 lbs, the five-star base provides a stable foundation for the high-recline angles without tipping.
Under the Seat
The height adjustment runs on top-tier hydraulics from South Korea, the frame is an injection-dyed polymer, and it rolls on rubberized soft-edge casters.

Midan office chair questions
What is a good affordable alternative to Herman Miller chairs?
If you love the ergonomics of the Herman Miller Aeron but dislike the high price tag, the OfficeLogixShop Midan Chair is the ultimate alternative. It offers the same premium functionality and comfort at a price that is much easier on the wallet. Additionally, the Midan features a unique single-piece mesh design that eliminates the uncomfortable gaps often found in other mesh chairs.
Our Aeron alternative guide compares them feature by feature.
Does this chair come with a headrest?
Yes, the Midan Chair includes an adjustable headrest that pivots and moves up and down for neck support. However, if you prefer a chair without a separate headrest, we highly recommend the Nova Logix Chair. The Nova features a 32-inch high-back design with integrated neck support. This eliminates the need for an additional headrest accessory while still providing full spinal alignment.
Is the Midan Chair refurbished or brand new?
Unlike our inventory of renewed Herman Miller or Steelcase products, the Midan Chair is sold 100% brand new. It is factory-fresh and not refurbished. You get extreme affordability by securing high-end features, such as 4D armrests, at a fraction of the cost of comparable luxury models. You receive a new chair with a 5-year mechanical warranty without the premium markup.
Will the Midan fit me?
A buyer who stands 6'4" calls it a "perfect fit". Another buyer, at 5'7", found the headrest and lumbar support "a little high". Both the headrest and the lumbar support move up and down.
How do I adjust the Midan's Donati mechanism?
Seat height: lift the lever on the side of the mechanism, just above the tension control. Tension: turn the tension control in quarter turns until leaning back feels right. Recline: lean back to the angle you want and lock it there with the tilt lock. Arms: raise or lower them with the side tabs, then slide or pivot the pads. Our video above shows each one, from 1:49 to 6:11.
Is there a Midan office chair review?
Yes. Our own 13-minute video review is above, and buyer reviews are higher up, right after the description. One buyer titled theirs "Great value!", another "Great after a week".
