Frequently Asked Questions
Are these arm pads compatible with my chair?
Yes. These arm pads are specifically designed for the dimensions of the Steelcase Leap V2, Amia, and Think models for an exact and precise fit.
Do I need any special tools to install them?
No. A manual Phillips screwdriver is enough. We do not recommend using power tools for installing the new pads as they could strip the threading.
Is it normal to see a small gap when I first place the new arm pad on?
Yes, it is completely normal to see a gap at first. Hold one end of the pad in place so it does not move, and press down hard on the opposite end. The pad will bend slightly and slide securely into place.
What is the best way to tighten the screws?
Insert the screws diagonally. Start with one corner and tighten it lightly, then move to the opposite corner. Once all four screws are loosely in place, tighten them securely to finish the installation.
