Complete Drafting Solution: Get the full Aeron Remastered experience at drafting height with 8Z Pellicle mesh, your choice of lumbar support, and stainless steel foot ring included!

Why This Herman Miller Aeron Stool Works

Working at elevated surfaces all day requires actual ergonomic support, not just a tall bar stool. This Aeron Remastered Stool brings the full comfort and adjustability of the world's most recognized office chair to drafting height.

  • 25" to 34" seat height range fits standard drafting tables, standing desks, and lab benches
  • Polished stainless steel foot ring gives you stable support when elevated
  • 8Z Pellicle mesh suspension keeps you cool during long sessions
  • Forward tilt option helps you lean into detailed work
  • Full adjustment suite including arms, tilt limiter, and tension control
  • Built like the regular Aeron because it basically is one, just taller

Pick Your Back Support System

The Aeron Remastered offers two approaches to lower back comfort. Both work great. It comes down to what feels right for your body and how you sit.

  • Adjustable Lumbar - A height-adjustable pad that targets your lower back curve directly
  • PostureFit SL - Herman Miller's newer system that supports both your sacrum and spine separately
  • Size A, B, or C available - Same sizing as regular Aerons (Size B fits most people)
  • Need help deciding? Contact us and we'll walk you through the options

What "Fully Loaded" Actually Means

Some Herman Miller Aeron stools come stripped down with basic features. This isn't one of them. You're getting the complete package with every adjustment, every control, every premium feature Herman Miller engineered into the Remastered line.

Forward Tilt

Tips the seat forward slightly when you need to lean into focused work. Great for drawing, design work, or detailed lab tasks.

Fully Adjustable Arms

Move up, down, in, out, and pivot to match your exact working position. Not the cheap fixed arms.

Tilt Limiter

Lock your recline at any angle you want. Some people like more lean-back, others prefer staying upright.

8Z Pellicle Mesh

The Remastered's upgraded mesh with eight zones of varying tension. Way better than the Classic's single-tension mesh.

Quick math: A new Herman Miller Aeron Remastered Stool with these specs costs $1,800+. You're getting it for under $1,000.

Common Questions

What's the actual height range for this Herman Miller Aeron Stool? Will it work with my desk?
The seat adjusts from about 25 inches to 34 inches off the floor. For reference, standard office chairs top out around 21-22 inches, so this gives you an extra foot of height. Most drafting tables sit at 36-40 inches, standing desks at 38-48 inches, and lab benches around 36 inches. All perfect ranges for this stool. Measure your work surface and make sure your feet can comfortably rest on the stainless steel foot ring when seated.
Adjustable Lumbar or PostureFit SL on my Aeron Remastered Stool - which should I get?
Adjustable Lumbar is the simpler option: a curved pad you slide up or down to hit your lower back curve. It's straightforward and works for most people. PostureFit SL is Herman Miller's newer design with two independent pads, one for your sacrum (the base of your spine) and one for your lumbar region. It gives you more precise control and promotes better pelvic positioning. If you like to dial things in perfectly, go PostureFit SL. If you want simple and effective, Adjustable Lumbar does the job.
Is this Herman Miller Aeron Remastered Stool the same quality as a regular Aeron chair?
Yes. The Aeron Remastered Stool is literally an Aeron Remastered chair with a taller cylinder and a foot ring added. Same mesh, same frame, same adjustment mechanisms, same build quality. Herman Miller didn't cheap out on the drafting version. They just extended the height range and added proper foot support.
What's the difference between Aeron Classic and Aeron Remastered?

The Remastered (also called "New Aeron") is Herman Miller's updated version released in 2016. Main upgrades: 8Z Pellicle mesh with zoned support zones instead of single-tension mesh, refined PostureFit SL option, improved armrests with more adjustment range, and slightly sleeker aesthetics. Both are excellent chairs, but the Remastered has better mesh technology and more refined adjustments.

If you want to learn more about the differences, we made an in-depth video comparing the Aeron Classic and Aeron Remastered:

Which size Herman Miller Aeron should I order?

Size B fits most people (5'4" to 6'6") and is what we recommend unless you know you're outside that range. Size A is for smaller frames, generally under 5'4" and 150 lbs. Size C is for larger individuals, usually over 6'3" or 250+ lbs. The sizing affects seat depth, back height, and overall proportions. When in doubt, Size B is the safe bet.

While we made this sizing guide video for the Aeron Classic, you can still get a solid idea about how the sizes compare:

We can help you figure it out if you're on the border between sizes.

What does certified refurbished from OfficeLogixShop actually mean?
It means we completely disassemble the stool, inspect every component, replace anything worn (tall cylinder, casters, arm pads, tilt mechanisms as needed), deep clean everything, polish the foot ring and base, reassemble it, and test all functions. You're not getting someone's used stool. You're getting a professionally restored Herman Miller Aeron that performs like new, backed by our 5-year warranty.
Can I use this Aeron Remastered Stool with a regular desk if I just want the option to sit higher?
You can, but it won't be ideal. At its lowest setting (25"), this stool is still a few inches taller than a standard office chair. Your feet won't reach the floor comfortably with a regular desk, and the ergonomics will be off. If you have a regular desk, get a regular Aeron. Save the drafting stool for actual elevated work surfaces where you need that extra height.
How stable is this Herman Miller Aeron Stool at full height?
Very stable. The base is wider than a standard Aeron to compensate for the extra height, and the stainless steel foot ring adds rigidity to the design. You're not going to tip this thing over under normal use. Herman Miller engineered these specifically for elevated work, so stability was a core design requirement.

My two Aeron stool chairs looks practically new

I absolutely loved the communications between myself and this wonderful knowledgeable team. And when the chairs arrived, I was expecting nicks and worn parts but to my surprise, the stools looked new and the mesh was solid and ferm. I will do business again with these guys without any second thoughts.
